May Roundup

May was a busy month for the club. Five ‘Hall teams made finals in Turners Cross with three Schoolgirl teams playing in St Colman’s Pk on CWSSL finals day.

History was made when our Youths team won the Centenary FAI Youths Cup for the very first time overcoming local rivals Ringmahon Rangers 3-2 in an absorbing contest in Turners Cross.  The Youths doubled up with the Munster Youths Cup beating Villa FC, Waterford 5-2 in the final with Adrian Thiabut helping himself to four goals and Man of the Match.  The U13’s beat Mallow Town in a cracker in the final of the U13 CSL local Cup final. Jack Punch with a hat trick.

Both U19’s & Seniors lost out to local rivals College Corinthians in local cup finals.

The U13’s won the Kay McGrath Cup while we were runners up in two other competitions.
